The Port of Durres is the primary entry gate of Albania. Road connectivity is being enhanced with infrastructural investment creasing trucking distances, whilst special customs arrangements are being made with neighbouring countries allowing for the completion of customs procedures in the Port of Durres.
Albania has direct borders with Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Greece. Mariner Adriatic is an advantageous alternative for neighbouring landlocked countries such as Kosovo and North Macedonia. A customs agreement is in place with Kosovo’s customs clearance in Durres Port.
