Mariner Shipping is seeking to recruit a junior accountant to form part of its team in Malta.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable;
• Follow up on customer accounts and overdue balances;
• Reconcile supplier payments and bank statements;
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing;
• Support audits and maintain financial records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in accounting;
• Basic understanding of accounting principles;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and accounting software;
• Excellent organisational and time management skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
